Romantic wedding in Florence

7 September 2023
Romantic wedding with a stunning view of Florence

Gabriella had always dreamed of a romantic wedding in Florence and was planning the big day with Roberta from Alfresco Wedding. When Gabriella and Rosario came to Florence, they were interested in doing an engagement shoot to have photos immersed in the wonders of the city. That’s how we met them, and we immediately felt a connection with them; they felt comfortable in front of our cameras, and we were able to perfectly capture their smiles and happiness. For two wedding photographers, there is no better way to introduce ourselves than by doing a couple’s photo shoot in Florence. After seeing the results of those few hours spent together, they chose us as their wedding photographers.

The wedding:

Gabriella got ready at the Westin Excelsior with her sister and close family, while Rosario got ready at the Hotel Baglioni with his groomsmen. Then, dressed in a white lace gown and a bespoke tailored suit, they exchanged vows in English at the Church of San Salvatore in Ognissanti, accompanied by the solemn notes of an organist.

After the ceremony, we followed the beautiful vintage white car they had chosen through the streets of the historic center. First, we took some photos of the newlyweds in front of the Duomo, then we carefully and artistically captured them in front of the beautiful Poggi fountains, and finally at the iconic Piazzale Michelangelo.

The reception at La Loggia del Piazzale Michelangelo was a vision of ethereal beauty, adorned with lights, white flowers, and Tuscan charm. As the sun set on the horizon, casting a beautiful glow over the city, guests enjoyed the aperitif and the magical atmosphere with a breathtaking view of Florence. Dinner was served under a beautiful canopy of lights, with the wonderful backdrop of Piazzale Michelangelo and the distant city lights twinkling, truly adding to the romantic atmosphere.
The music for the dance party was performed by TastenSax. The DJ spun the tracks while the saxophonist seamlessly accompanied every beat, creating an unforgettable synergy. With our cameras, we captured their performance, the fun, and the enthusiasm of the guests who danced all night long!

Photographing this romantic wedding in Florence was not only beautiful but also fun, exciting, and moving. It was full of magical moments to capture, and the result was truly very satisfying.

Silvia and Tommaso of Punti di Bianco Photography were the perfect duo to capture our wedding! We stumbled upon them to take an engagement photoshoot while in Italy, and fell in love with their style of photography! We were so thankful that they were available the following September to capture our wedding! Between the two of them, they captured each decoration and detail of church and venue, candid shots of us, our guests, and were sure to take some structured photos to have the perfect lighting at specific locations. Somehow they managed to capture us in the busy center of Florence, but made us appear to be the only couple around! They definitely know their city!!! We asked to be sure to have a photo with each guest, since we had a small wedding party, and they made it happen! They were so polite, and were sure to ask us what we wanted in order to capture specific shots, which they executed effortlessly! Most of the time, we were unaware they were even there, hidden amongst the party, just capturing each photo at the perfect angle. They captured our love on film and we are so happy with our entire wedding album! We cannot say a bad thing about Punti di Bianco. We highly recommend their photography for your special day!
